By: Albert's Table Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th of March are the dates for the much anticipated Spring Tasting. Commencing at 8pm, the Tasting Evenings are a held every 8-12 weeks, and feature a bespoke 5 course menu. The menu is crafted to include the finest local ingredients as they come into season, making the menus from the events held throughout the year all very different from one another. Seats at Albert’s Tables Tasting Evenings are fully booked with days of becoming available, leaving many disappointed. “I hate having to turn people away” Says Joby Wells, chef and owner of Albert’s Table. “And the Tasting Evenings are such a wonderful night for all the guests and staff that we have decided to host two evenings for our Spring Event. The menu will be the same on both nights, and I will be speaking at the end of the meal on both nights, we just want to give more people the opportunity to attend and enjoy the evening.” In addition to the extra evening, Joby has also created a cheese course that guests can enjoy for an additional £10. The cost for the 5 course menu, with matched wines, is £65 per person. Due to the popularity of the evenings the restaurant charges a deposit of £50 per table.
