Creve Coeur Camera Superstore MOVES and EXPANDS in Declining Camera Market

CREVE COEUR, Mo. - Feb. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Creve Coeur Camera, the area’s largest camera store chain has moved its Superstore to a larger, updated location at 12747 Olive Blvd in the Bellerive Corporate Center II.  The new store is only 1 1/2 miles west of the previous location.  It is situated in between 270 and 141 on Olive.

Stephen Weiss, President and owner of CCC said, “This new location is 17,000 square feet and about 40% larger than our previous store. The new store has an expanded retail sales floor, larger classrooms and our photographic lab has doubled. Customers will see expanded lineups of cameras and lenses, including more from Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Fuji, Sigma and now including Panasonic, to mention just a few. Plus we’ve added a "shooting" area where customers can demo cameras inside the store. We’re already getting feedback from customers that they love this, because it really give them a sense of what their images will look like, and how the camera ‘feels’ in shooting situations.”

The new store is located in the front of an office park.  This allows CCC to offer customers more parking, better visibility and it easier access from Olive Boulevard.

Additionally, Weiss states, “We are adding a wonderful new synergistic operation to this and other locations, called Bizcard Xpress (BCX).  BCX will utilize CCC’s existing printing equipment and knowledge to offer our customers copies, printing, signs, business cards, advertising specialties, banners and more.”

CCC’s Ladue and Creve Coeur locations are adding these BCX departments at the end of February. O'fallon & Springfield, Illinois locations, as well as Saint Charles & Columbia, Missouri will be adding BCX later this year.

Rather than buying a franchise of BCX, Weiss and BCX owner Lee Papadeas came to a licensing agreement which allows for current camera stores to add these departments without the huge cost of a franchise. Creve Coeur Camera can continue to offer its quality and expertise, while increasing BCX’s presence in the area. Ultimately, it’s a win for consumers.
