Tennant Farmers Market in Morgan Hill, CA to Hold 'Grand Slam Grand Opening' this April

MORGAN HILL, Calif. - Feb. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Certified Farmers Market, the Tennant Farmers Market in Morgan Hill, CA has announced they will be holding their “Grand Slam Grand Opening” on April 11-12, 2015 from 9:00am – 3:00pm. Admission to the market is free and kids are welcome to attend event.

The event will feature arts and crafts vendors from Salinas to San Francisco who will be there displaying their handmade goods which are available for purchase. In addition, attendees can browse vendors who will be offering a wide variety of locally grown organic fruits and vegetables. This family-friendly event will have available both hot and cold food and drinks. A play area will be set up for kids and will feature horse and pony rides, face painting, bounce houses, henna tattooing, as well as raffles and live music for all ages.

“Many of our local farmers will be selling their strawberries, blueberries, honey, and everything-in-between right out of their farms here in the Morgan Hill area. Vendor reservations are now being made. We are hearing from certified produce and arts & craft vendors from as far as San Francisco to as far south as Salinas, CA. We are going to see shoppers from San Jose to Gilroy, CA at our Grand Slam-Grand Opening on April 11^th and 12^th. All of our vendor spaces are expected to sell out,” said, Cynthia Perez, who is the managing director of operations (DOO)for the farmers market in Morgan Hill, CA.

The farmers market is set to be open regularly every Saturday and Sunday following, but those who are interested in becoming a vendor for the event are encouraged to reserve their spot as soon as possible, as space is limited for this event.
