New head of sales and business development at SGL Co-packing

NELSON, U.K. - Feb. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- SGL Co-packing Limited, the Nelson, Lancashire-based contract packing and contract manufacturing specialist within the UK-based Keswick Enterprises Group, has appointed Neil Scott as Sales Manager.

Neil is an experienced national accounts manager with a strong FMCG sales background and a wealth of experience of selling products into the major multiple retailers.  With an honours degree in Manufacturing Engineering from LancasterUniversity, he was previously National Account Manager at Trans-Continental Marketing Limited, the UK-based manufacturer of disposable and packaging products.  Before that he was National Account Manager, Health & Beauty at Ultimate Products; National Account Manager at Enterprise, part of AAH Pharmaceuticals; and Business Development Manager at b3 International (now Royal Sanders).  His career started in 2003 as a Production Manager with Findel Education.

At SGL Co-packing, Neil will lead sales and business development for the company’s high quality, cost-effective contract packing services.  He will also be responsible for account and relationship management, NPD, tenders and developing new packing solutions.   SGL Co-packing currently serves suppliers of confectionery, cereals, other dry food, cosmetics/personal care, and pet care/veterinary products, along with major retailers requiring own label goods.
