75 year old very vibrant artist-run organization has 2 shows coming up in Manhattan in March.

NEW YORK - Feb. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Founded in 1940 by lIya Bolotowski, Byron Browne, Adolph Gottlieb, Balcomb Greene, & Mark Rothko, FOMPS is a diverse, progressive artists' organization based in New York City.

Now in their 75th year, numbering  close to 75 members, the oldest of which is 92, these vibrant and active artists look back to the past, celebrate the present and create the future in styles echoing abstraction in all mediums.

Historically artsts from Louise Bourgeois to Louise Nevelson with Joseph Stella in between have either been members or exhibited with The Federation.

40 artists participating with a catalog available.  Estate works will be on view and for sale.

The Office of Borough President Gail A. Brewer
