Vivid Marketing, Inc. Promotes Assistant Manager

BALTIMORE - Feb. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Vivid Marketing, Inc. recently promoted Karyn Catania to Assistant Manager. An official promotion ceremony was held on Wednesday, February 5, 2015, to celebrate Karyn’s milestone. This is the second promotion in three months that Vivid Marketing, Inc. has held, largely due to the growth in their Baltimore, Maryland office.

Karyn Catania grew up in Pasadena, Maryland. She knew in grade school that she wanted to become a fashion designer, and her family didn’t always have the money to buy the top name brands, so she decided she wanted to make her own. Karyn went to Marymount University in Arlington, VA to study fashion design, and moved to New York City after graduation, where she began working with Elie Tahari as the Director of Technical Services. Throughout her time spent in New York City, Karyn also had the opportunity to work with brands such as Free People, Anthropologie, Under Armour, Urban Outfitters, The North Face, and Guess.

In 2011, Karyn realized she had hit a glass ceiling in her career in the fashion industry, and eventually decided to move back to Maryland to be closer to family. Knowing she wanted to continue to grow professionally and eventually start her own business, Karyn began working with Vivid Marketing, Inc. in April of 2013. Karyn mentions that “In order to own my own business, I knew that I had to learn the marketing aspect of a company. I interviewed at many companies, some very similar to ours and some that were very different. Vivid Marketing, Inc. just felt right. Between the atmosphere and the people, I knew there was something very special here that I did not want to miss out on. It was a weird, yet refreshing, feeling to work with people who actually wanted to help you instead of compete with you.”

Karyn’s hard work and dedication have assisted in her recent promoted to Assistant Manager, in February 2015. In her new role, Karyn will continue to help her friends and those she works with, to reach their goals. Eventually, she plans to pay off her parents’ house, and buy a house on the water with a big wrap-around porch.

“With the high expectations from our clients, along with the work ethic and dedication that our team continues to showcase, we have been able to not only hire a new Managing Partner, but have also promoted two team members to management recently.
