Contac Services Spins Off Mywurld Division

TORONTO - Feb. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Mywurld Inc. today announces the acquisition of Contac Services’ mywurld assets and technology platforms.  This includes their travel agent desktop (TAD), Navitour products, and PURL technology.

Mywurld Inc. is owned by Calgary based Norrep Credit Opportunities Fund LP (managed by Crown Capital Partners Inc.), and a group of private investors.

Mark Lorne, previous EVP of Contac Services has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and will oversee operations going forward.

Lorne stated, “This change provides mywurld with a strong financial foundation, and allows us to refocus mywurld into a technology provider that is active across a broad range of industries.”

Mywurld, in conjunction with their travel partners, sends out over 20,000 PURLS a day.
