Highlights of Annual Function at PIET- Maestros 2015

PANIPAT, India - Feb. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- The onset of Feb. 2015 was once again marked by fun and frolic all round the campus at Panipat Institute Of Engineering and Technology with a three day long Annual function, Maestros 2K15.

It is the platform for college students to perform and exhibit their kinesthetic and other  extracurricular skills which they have attained and acquired during their stay at the campus. It is a FEST close to the heart of many a renowned colleges and schools of Haryana and Delhi NCR (http://www.piet.co.in/Vision-Mission-and-Core-Values). It provides an exposure to the visiting institutes to view and appreciate what all is provided at this campus. At the same time it opens a competitive window for the PIETians.

While debates and declamations helped school students to prove their mettle and win cash and other awards, all participants were also motivated by one way or the other getting gift vouchers worth Rs. 800/- each.

The street plays enacted by the top Delhi colleges touched the current national topics like

‘BETI BACHAO BETI PADHAO’ and

‘SWACHH BHARAT’

Which are the Nation vide missions of the Prime Minister, shriNarender Modi.

The presentations were heart touching leaving a lasting impact on the minds.

The numerous stage plays by famous colleges of Haryana also primarily spoke of the social evils like female feticide, dowry system and drug abuse among the youth. It was a novel way of delivering serious messages through comic plays creating an awareness amongst students about the dangers posed by these.

Like all previous years, the last day of the Maestros was celebrated as ‘STAR NIGHT’ marked by the lively presentation of NEHA KAKKAR, the latest Bollywood singing craze of the youngsters. She rocked the PIET stage for about two hours mesmerizing thousands present, who kept on their feet all through the show.

The dedicated placement cell of PIET was all the time engaged with the visiting Companies like WIPRO, TCS, and ICICI etc. for future building of the students even during the days of enjoyment, depiction of a true PIETian professional dedication.
