SOMERSET, N.J. - Feb. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Somerset, NJ – February 9, 2015 – The Art of Living Foundation, an international non-profit that offers stress reduction, meditation and self-development programs, is hosting the event 'The Wave of Happiness' during which the Happiness Program, Sahaj Samadhi Meditation Course with  senior faculty member Jim Larsen and programs for the youth will held. These programs are developed by international humanitarian and spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to foster the creation of a stress-free, violence-free society through individual transformation.

The programs will run from March 26-29 and will be held in Hotel Somerset-Bridgewater, 100 Davidson Avenue, Somerset, NJ. More than 300 participants will be introduced to a series of powerful stress management techniques through a combination of yoga, meditation and breath-work. Practical tools and technique based on ancient wisdom will be taught over the course of the four days.Mr. Larsen will conduct workshops to mitigate stress through both a philosophical understanding of its underlying causes and strategies for increasing harmony and contentment.

As Mr. Larsen puts it, “Meditation was traditionally a practice for those seeking spiritual awakening, but there are many other benefits meditation provides. Meditation rejuvenates the mind, heals the body, and slows the decline that comes from aging. Not all meditation practices are the same. The unique Sudarshan Kriya practice taught on the Happiness Program is effective for everyone because, in just ten minutes, the mind is settled enough to slip easily into deep meditation.”

A principal benefit of the techniques taught by the Art of Living Foundation is enhanced well-being. We can increase our resilience for stress through heightened self-knowledge and connectedness. Mr. Larsen will teach practical application of each powerful course principle for effortless use in daily life.

Across New Jersey, thousands of community members have benefited from the Foundation’s programs.

“Since practicing the techniques taught by Art of Living, I feel far more at home with myself and the world… The relationship with my inner self has increased immensely. Life has greater depth and perspective… Now all the dots connect in a cohesive way.” says Mr Tortorello , a course participant.

Join us for an inspiring and restorative four days of dynamic practice, tools and technique for stress management and self-development.
