MRO Announces Three Additions to Management Team

Charlie Wilson was appointed Chief Information Officer, joining the company with more than 30 years of leadership in the healthcare vertical market. Matt O’Connor was named Vice President of Sales and Marketing, bringing 20 years of experience leading high performing sales and marketing teams. Rounding out the management team with her deep industry knowledge is Joyce Conner-Boyd, MRO’s new Vice President of Strategic Operations.

Prior to joining MRO, Wilson worked for Siemens Healthcare, where major accomplishments included the implementation of an enterprise-wide electronic medical record (EMR) for all ambulatory sites, a Health Information Exchange (HIE) platform and ICD-10-compliant software across all required systems. In his role as CIO at MRO, he is responsible for all IT operations, which include internal IT infrastructure, telecommunications, and application implementation, support and development.

O’Connor comes to MRO from Allscripts Healthcare, where he created the company’s first direct ambulatory electronic health record (EHR) sales team and later managed the sales and sales strategy for their Health Information Exchange (HIE), population health and financial performance solutions within the acute care market. In his role as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for MRO, O’Connor is responsible for expanding MRO’s footprint through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

Before joining MRO, Conner-Boyd was COO for Dais Analytic, a publicly held nano-technology company, and Senior Vice President of Softserve Inc., a leading global provider of consulting services, technology and software development.Prior to this, she worked at HealthPort, Inc. for more than 14 years, holding several roles including Senior Executive, National Director of Process Improvement, National Director of Business Development and Implementation, and Regional Operations Director. As VP of Strategic Operations at MRO, she leads the company’s growth strategy through mergers and acquisitions, and additionally provides ongoing strategic vision and operational guidance.

Demonstrating consistent growth over the last thirteen years, MRO recently announced a partnership with Imperial Capital Group Ltd., a middle market private equity firm. Imperial Capital’s investment has enabled the company to accelerate growth with these new hires, further establishing MRO as an industry leader.
