New Committee Voted in at Bournemouth Property Association AGM

POOLE, U.K. - Feb. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- THE AGM of the Bournemouth Property Association saw a record breaking turn out last month.

Despite the early start, the attendees braved the conditions to convene at 7am on 13^th January at AFCB.  The AGM was held immediately prior to the BPA’s January breakfast seminar, where the talk was delivered by representatives of The Dorset Fire & Rescue Service.

The constitution requires for the presiding committee to stand down and then re-stand if they wished to be elected again.  One of the founding members and Chairman of five years, Suki Samra stood down this year and many thanks were extended to him for all his hard work since the inception of the Association.

The new chair and two vice-chairs will be voted on at the next committee meeting in February.

The existing BPA committee members extended a warm welcome to the new committee members: Emily Coomber, Dan Tout and Simone Ritchie.

The BPA is proud to have over 300 supporters based in the Bournemouth, Poole, Southampton and Christchurch areas, with property professionals from across different sectors, to include surveyors, engineers, solicitors, architects, agencies, planners, construction companies etc.  The members attend regular monthly meetings which alternate between formal and informal events of which there were 18 organised last year.  The next event is the informal drinks party at Aruba to be held on 12^th February.
