Religare Private Wealth appoints Gaurav Arora as Chief Investment Officer

NEW DELHI - Feb. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- New Delhi, 11February, 2014 – Religare Private Wealth (RPW), the advisory led wealth management platform of diversified financial services group, Religare Enterprises Limited (REL), has announced the appointment of Mr. Gaurav Arora as Chief Investment Officer (CIO). He will be based in Mumbai and will report to Shachindra Nath, Group CEO, Religare.

In his role as the CIO for RPW, Gaurav’s focus will be on delivering best of breed product and advisory proposition for Religare’s private wealth clients, driving the firm’s investment strategy across asset classes and leveraging the diverse capabilities of Religare as a group in offering comprehensive financial solutions to HNI (high net worth Individuals) clients.

Prior to joining Religare, Gaurav was with IIFL Private Wealth Management (an IndiaInfoline group company) since 2008 as Sr. Vice President, where, as a part of the initial team he was actively involved in setting-up the entire Product platform and proposition from scratch.

Prior to that, he was also a part of the initial team at Standard Chartered Private Bank in India, where he led the investment advisory team catering to the bank’s top HNI clients. He started his career with Citigroup in their lending business.

An Alumnus from IIM- Bangalore, Gaurav has wide-ranging experience of more than a decade in the Private Wealth Management industry across Product Management, Investment Advisory, Family Office, Credit and Fund Management. He has a deep understanding of various investment asset classes, strategies and an acute sense of structuring innovative investments for clients in varied market conditions.
