Fork Rhino Updates Fork Lift Attachment to Sleeker, More Durable Model

ERIE, Pa. - Feb. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Erie, Pa. – Automation Devices, Inc. (ADI) is releasing an improved fourth generation version of the Fork Rhino Fork Lift Ball Hitch Adapter.  The Fork Rhino is a device used to transform a fork lift into a versatile equipment handler capable of moving a variety of hitch equipment including ball hitches, goose necks and pintles. Designed by ADI President Kevin Smith, the Fork Rhino allows a user to eliminate the single fork method of moving trailers which can result in fork sag and uncontrolled fork swing. The Fork Rhino eliminates fork sag by spreading the fork load evenly to both forks.  The Fork Rhino is one-third the size and weight of most trailer spotters.  The 4th generation Rhino offers a one-piece handle/side plate for more weld surface exposure that creates a sturdier handle and attachment point for safety chains.  Fork Rhinos have a safety orange powder coat finish. The Fork Rhino's design doesn’t affect the safe operation or capacity of a fork truck.

“The popularity of the Fork Rhino encouraged us to tweak the current model to allow for some changes based on the feedback of our customers,” explains Kevin.  Quickly becoming the standard for forklift adapters, the Fork Rhino is a favorite of military personnel, municipalities and corporations. “Since its inception, 11 years ago, Fork Rhino pricing has remained the same,” adds Smith.
