MCL extends support to Zebra Symbol Android devices

Feb. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- February 10, 2015 – La Hulpe, Belgium – MCL-Technologies today announces that the MCL-Collection now additionally supports a range of Symbol Android devices following Zebra’s acquisition of Motorola Solutions’ enterprise business. The Symbol MC40, TC55, MC67 and TC70 will benefit from this support immediately.

The news is a fundamental part of MCL’s strategy to provide high-productivity software solutions that boost the development, deployment and management of enterprise mobile applications and devices.

The MCL-Collection allows software developers to rapidly build enterprise applications once and deploy them across a range of Android and Windows mobile devices. As well as providing the ability to future-proof applications, MCL-Collection also reduces development time and maintenance costs.

By using MCL, software developers will be able to take advantage of the MCL-AppDesktop functionality and create personalised desktops on mobile devices, meaning that users only see the apps they need to do their jobs. This improves security, increases productivity and also saves battery life as only the correct apps will be running.

Apps created with MCL automatically provide native support for a number of data capture technologies featured on the devices, such as barcode scanners and RFID readers. The improved performance and control means that applications designed with MCL-Designer V4 can better meet the requirements of high-demand supply chain applications.
