Precise SIGINT Integrated on Self-Contained Wideband RF Recorder-Playback System

BOZEMAN, Mont. - Feb. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- COMINT Consulting and QRC Technologies announced the compatibility of the Krypto500 decoding and analysis software suite with the WBT, an all-in-one recording and playback device that allows users to capture two 40 MHz blocks of RF spectrum between 50 MHz and 6 Ghz.

This collaboration allows operators to use one unit to record a signal in the field, record it for later playback, and nearly-instantaneously provide highly detailed signal classification that identifies exact signal identification, including transmission equipment used.

There is no need for additional transmitters or receivers to download or play back the signal for analysis. Data streamed onto the high-speed SATA solid state drive can be played back anywhere within the same tuning range.

The WBT’s collected files can be directly loaded into Krypto500, with hundreds of decoders and signal classification that specifically categorize more than 4,000 signaling systems for narrowband ELF-SHF signals up to 48 kHz in bandwidth. Compatibility will be also be added for Krypto1000, which covers wideband VHF-SHF signals 48 kHz in bandwidth and larger.
