Lubbock Fine was one of the fastest growing accountancy firms in 2014

LONDON - Feb. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Lubbock Fine was one of the fastest growing accountancy firms in 2014 and is now a top 40 firm, as ranked by Accountancy magazine (the leading independent magazine covering the accounting profession) in its UK Accountancy Firms League Table 2014.

The league table, published in February 2015, shows that Lubbock Fine has moved up to 40th position from last year's ranking of 59.

During 2014, Lubbock Fine saw an increase in fee income of 39%, making it the second fastest growing accountancy firm. When mergers are excluded from the growth figures, Lubbock Fine was the fastest growing accountancy firm last year.

The rise in fees was in part due to Lubbock Fine winning a significant European Commission contract for financial audit services, which will see the firm carry out some 500 or 600 audits throughout Europe until 2017, alongside some other firms from its international network, Russell Bedford.

However, the jump up the league table is not just down to Lubbock Fine’s EC work as it has seen an increase in all areas. As Lubbock Fine managing partner Mark Turner explained: "We are seeing a steady rise in tax work and there is also increasing work around areas such as wealth management and auto-enrolment."
