CHICAGO - Feb. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- CHICAGO, Feb 9, 2014 – High-energy live music, horns, horns, horns. Cajun-Creole food, craft cocktails, brightly colored beads and dubloons. All combine to make Mardi Gras a festival you never forget. Unless you’re already in New Orleans, you’ll want to be at Untitled for Fat Tuesday. On Tuesday, February 17th, Untitled (http://untitledsupperclub.com) and Avanse bring all the vibrancy of Bourbon Street to Kinzie Street. The third annual Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras) celebration at Untitled (http://untitledsupperclub.com) features live music by the Low Down Brass Band (http://lowdownbrassband.com), specialty cocktails, burlesque and a Cajun-Creole menu.

It all starts with a parade. Like an ensemble progressing from St. Charles Avenue to Canal Street, Untitled (http://untitledsupperclub.com) will feature its own parade. The ten-piece, horn-driven Low Down Brass Band goes marching and stomping down Clark Street, headed for LaSalle, and wrapping around Kinzie, before disappearing down the stairs into the speakeasy lair of Untitled Supper Club.

Like the Pied Piper, the infectious sound is sure to pick up more than a few along the way. So you’ll want to make reservations. They’re available at 312.880.1511. Inside, the parade continues. The Low Down Brass Band winds through the restaurant and takes stage for an exuberant, funk-based three-hour performance. From time to time, the band descends from the stage while continuing play in the foyer, in the Library, in the audience--wherever the vibe takes them. This band leaves no one seated.

Once inside, the smells of New Orleans come wafting around the corner: New Orleans Creole Gumbo, Fried Oyster Po’ Boys, and Jimbo’s Shrimp Boil—served by the pound! The deliciously authentic Cajun-Creole menu is the creation of in-house chef Jimbo “La Louisiane” Mitchell. The regular dinner menu will be offered as well.

Partnered perfectly with the menu are cocktails created just for the occasion. New Orleans is the birthplace of the American cocktail, afterall. So expect the evening to feature a number of New Orleans inspired craft cocktails, like the Hurricane and Sazerac. Created, of course with our own flair. Remember, we have quite a few spirits from which to choose. Adding to the spirit of Mardi Gras will be burlesque performances—New Orleans-style, of course. And yes, there will be beads.

The evening will also honor Avanse (http://avanse.org) (formerly, Charity 4Life), a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to advance the lives of street kids in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Mardi Gras is all about the music, the food, the spirits, the spectacle. And no place in Chicago brings all of that together the way Untitled does. Entertainment for Fat Tuesday Is complementary. But make reservations for dinner—because you’ll want to revel in the entire Fat Tuesday celebration. For reservations, call 312.880.1511
