Los Angeles, CA (February 2nd, 2015) -- On Sunday, February 22nd, cyclists will take to the street and rally to bring attention to the deadly consequences of distracted driving. The Milt Olin Foundation and Yield to Life have come together to help prevent cyclists from being killed by inattentive motorists. These two non-profit organizations are initiating the “#Hands Off” campaign targeting motorists who continue to use electronic devices while driving. "It's been over a year since I tragically lost Milt," said Louise Olin, founder of The Milt Olin Foundation. "Since then I have met many people whose lives have been affected by distracted drivers. This event is an opportunity for cyclists and non-cyclists to use their voice and show their support against this safety epidemic. The Milt Olin Foundation and Yield to Life will continue the fight to enact change to save lives". The rally point for the event will be at Pedalers Fork, 23504 Calabasas Road, Calabasas, CA 91302. Registration for the riders begins at 7:30am, and the ride will start at 9:00am. Supporters are encouraged to meet at Pedalers Fork at 10:30am and help welcome riders as they finish. The post-ride rally will feature music, food, raffle, and informational speakers. Both organizations invite you to this event to show your support and bring public awareness to this very important issue and help save lives!
