Robinson Law Firm, P.A. Honored with Multiple Awards

Les Robinson, the lead attorney at the Robinson Law Firm, P.A., has recently been recognized with a number of accolades for his commitment to serving Greenville residents.

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Feb. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Les Robinson, founder of the Robinson Law Firm, P.A., was formally recognized by several organizations for his continued demonstrations of community and professional leadership. He was honored by Super Lawyers®, Business North Carolina magazine, the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the North Carolina Advocates of Justice, and the Mattamuskeet Foundation. Attorney Robinson is among the select group of North Carolina legal professionals to be recognized with such prestigious awards.

Mr. Robinson was selected for inclusion in the 2015 list of North Carolina Super Lawyers®, which is limited to five percent of attorneys practicing in a state. In order to qualify for the list, attorneys have to pass a stringent, multi-step vetting process. They also need to be nominated by a fellow attorney, a member of Super Lawyers® staff, or a reader. Nominated attorneys are evaluated based on a number of measurements of professional achievement, such as courtroom success, client satisfaction, and other credentials. Finally, other attorneys in the same practice area fill out surveys of vetted lawyers, and only those with the highest level of peer feedback will receive recognition in a Super Lawyers® list.

The National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys, a professional organization recognizing excellence in the field of law, chose Attorney Robinson to be included in the Top 10 Criminal Defense Attorneys in North Carolina list. Utilizing several different stages, the organization creates a list of what they believe to the best of the best in a certain state. From the initial peer nominations, the organization’s Selection Committee creates a short list of 50 top attorneys, and then their Board of Governors makes the official selections for the state’s Top 10 list.

Once again, Mr. Robinson earned the Advocate distinction from the Educational Achievement Program of the North Carolina Advocates of Justice for the period of 2013-2014. The program recognizes members of the NCAJ who display a commitment to furthering their legal knowledge through involvement in the organization’s continuing educational activities. Attorney Robinson previously was recognized with this honor in the 2012-2013 period.

Business North Carolina Magazine, a publication whose focus is the interests of North Carolina’s professional community, selected Attorney Robinson for the organization’s Legal Elite for 2015. This recognition—which acknowledges achievement in the criminal law field—is limited to 3% of practicing lawyers in North Carolina. In order to create the list, the publication mails surveys to thousands of attorneys. Additionally, attorneys must adhere to several rules and regulations when nominating.

Lastly, Attorney Robinson received a Mattamuskeet Drainage District bond as a gift for the firm’s support for the Mattamuskeet Foundation over the past decade. The drainage district bond is a historic artifact that is over 100 years old. According to the executive director of the Mattamuskeet Foundation, it is faithful supporters like Robinson Law Firm who make it possible to preserve and accurately interpret Lake Mattamuskeet’s history.
