Bristlecone Shooting Range Announces Grand Opening

CENTENNIAL, Colo. - Feb. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Bristlecone Shooting, Training & Retail Center announces the grand opening of its high-end shooting range, serving west Denver and surrounding regions. The 20,000-square-foot, full-service shooting, training and retail center features a comfortable lounge, large retail selection and virtual training simulator. Bristlecone also features the newest indoor full tactical bay in Denver and the only one in west Denver.

A formal ribbon cutting ceremony conducted by the West Chamber is being held Friday, February 6, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. Bristlecone will be providing food and beverages for attendees along with door prizes from 11:00 a.m. until noon. The grand opening celebration is Saturday, February 7, 2015, starting at 10:00 a.m., featuring live music, prizes and a charity shoot benefiting the Wounded Warrior Foundation.

“We’re offering one of the best shooting experiences possible in the entire region,” said Jacquelyn Clark, co-owner of the new business along with her husband Bryan. “With sport shooting becoming more mainstream, we’re responding to a market that wants a high-quality experience in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment.”

Jacquelyn Clark explained that the comfort and safety of indoor recreational shooters are accounted for in every design element of the range’s 14 climate-controlled lanes. The state-of- the-art ventilation system, extra room behind the firing line, ballistic windows and spacious viewing area create an open and inviting atmosphere not readily found at most indoor shooting ranges.

“Customer service and the full customer experience are central concepts at Bristlecone,” said Bryan Clark. “We’ve worked hard to create an environment that is both welcoming and unintimidating for those new to the sport, but also has all the technology, retail selection and staff expertise needed to attract the more advanced sport shooters. Bristlecone will offer the largest selection of rental firearms of any indoor range in metro Denver. Also unique to Bristlecone is a “no regrets” return policy on new firearms, ensuring that patrons achieve the highest level of comfort, fit and satisfaction for their new firearms.

Firearms education is also a core offering of the new shooting range. Bristlecone’s trainingprogram includes a large selection of general firearms classes, CPR and emergency medicine courses, plus a full range of weapons training, competition and classes offered through its TiOutdoors Virtual Training Simulator. The comprehensive Bristlecone Shooting Academy takes students from beginner to advanced levels with a baccalaureate-style progression of firearms courses.
