Thanksgiving Celebration in San Diego with Romano’s Jewelers

SAN DIEGO - Feb. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Every year, Romano’s Jewelers hosts exclusive military events to thank and honor our military, such as our recent Thanksgiving Dinner in November of 2014.

We are already planning our next event for 2015 which will be bigger & better than ever.

Our 2015 event is going to be unforgettable. We have already begun the planning stages and some very special guests will be in attendance this year. We promise you will be impressed and entertained.

For those of you who missed our last event, this should get you excited for 2015!

On November 26^th, 2014, Romano's Jewelers hosted a Thanksgiving dinner party in San Diego for our active duty military customers who were unable to fly home for Thanksgiving. Many of our customers were sad that they wouldn't have enough time or money to take leave and go home to see their family.

At Romano's we pride ourselves on always treating our customers like family so if they couldn't go home to spend Thanksgiving with their family we wanted them to be able to spend time with their Romano's family.

Romano’s Jewelers partnered up with the Sheraton Hotel in Mission Valley, California. We invited all of our customers and even their friends who couldn't make it home for Thanksgiving to an exclusive Thanksgiving dinner with all the food and hospitality you can imagine.

It was a beautiful event with a free photo booth, the hottest DJ in San Diego and even a live performance from the famous performing artist Trae Tha Truth who we flew in from Texas just to perform live for everyone’s enjoyment.

We had 2 very special guests that joined us that evening for dinner. A 92 year old WW2 veteran and his wife who had no other family in San Diego. He gave an inspiring speech about his experiences in the military. The second guest speaker was a pastor from the local church who blessed the dinner we were about to eat and gave thanks to the service members who give their lives to keep this country safe. He also is a veteran and knew the sacrifices our military personnel make to serve us all.

Everyone had a fantastic time! After dinner the party began... Trae tha Truth appeared and started the party right with an amazing live performance, photo ops with the service members and the DJ turned up the music and everyone danced the night away...

Everyone was very thankful to have the opportunity to come and enjoy a Thanksgiving party thrown especially for them. Many people came in to the store the next few days after the party and thanked us many times, telling us they'd never gone to such a fun and beautiful event and hoped that if they are stationed in San Diego next year we will do it again. And we will!
