Kevin Meade, Managing Partner at The Amin Law Group, will be a speaker at the 1st Annual Intermountain Construction Defect & Dispute Conference which will cover an array of topics relating to construction defects and construction insurance disputes.
 
IRVINE, Calif. - Feb. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Kevin will cover the topic of I-15 Construction Defect Overview (Summary of CA, NV and UT CD laws).  Kevin is the Managing Partner of the California office of The Amin Law Group, Ltd. (“TALG”).  TALG is a full-service business, risk management and construction law firm founded in 2005, with offices in California, Nevada and Texas, associated counsel in Louisiana and affiliated counsel in Florida and New York.  In 17 years of practice Kevin has represented hundreds of clients in all areas of litigation, focusing on complex litigation matters, including construction defect, insurance coverage, business disputes, class actions and environmental/bodily injury claims. Kevin regularly assists clients in identifying and developing risk transfer alternatives and utilizing alternative dispute resolution vehicles to efficiently resolve cases.  Kevin has represented numerous homebuilders, developers and general contractors in construction defect and insurance litigation, as well as subcontractors.  Kevin has successfully handled cases for his clients involving property and bodily injury claims with toxic mold in residential projects, copper pipe pinhole leak class action claims, and product liability stemming from foreign-made products.  Kevin has tried cases for his clients on both the defense and plaintiff side, has handled numerous multi-party arbitrations and mediations, prepared, argued and opposed significant law and motion filings, and has helped his clients with creating and implementing risk management plans.  Kevin has been a speaker at multiple conferences regarding construction related issues.  Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree from UCLA where he was a columnist at the Daily Bruin newspaper.  Kevin earned his law degree from The University of Utah College of Law where he was a William H. Leary Scholar and a Legal Writing & Research Teaching Assistant.  While Kevin is both a “Bruin” and a “Ute”, he is not a “Brute”.

The 1st Annual Intermountain Construction Defect & Dispute Conference will cover an array of topics relating to construction defects, construction insurance disputes, paralegal and  property management issues.  This conference will provide up to 6 CLE and CE credits for attorneys, paralegals, insurance personnel and property managers.
