Future Focus Foundation named non-profit partner in Central VA Science Fair

LYNCHBURG, Va. - Feb. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- The 39th regional science fair for grades 9-12 will be hosted by Central Virginia Community College on March 6-7, 2015 and the Science Challenge for grades 5-8 will be hosted by Central Virginia Governor’s School on May 5, 2015. CVRSF is affiliated with the Society for Science and the Public, it is the managing organization for the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair and Broadcom Masters.  Participation in the regional events is open to students in the regional through their public or private school affiliation with CVRSF.

“The Central Virginia Regional Science Fair Steering Committee is pleased to partner with the Future Focus Foundation to streamline the CVRSF operational practices. The synergy between the CVRSF and the Foundation demonstrates the regional support for science research in K-12 classrooms.  Together we celebrate the development young inquisitive minds and the innovative thinking around us as we present opportunities for these young science thinkers to share their work,” said Cheryl A. Lindeman, steering committee chair and director of the CVRSF.
