University of Florida Recognizes Therigy as a Gator100 Fastest Growing Company

ORLANDO, Fla. - Feb. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- This week, Therigy announces it has been selected as part of the University of Florida’s elite Gator100 based on the company’s innovative achievements and year-over-year growth. This award recognizes and honors the 100 fastest-growing businesses in the world that are built and operated by Gator alumni.

“It is both exciting and humbling to receive this award from the university and be listed among this distinguished group of companies,” said Joseph Morse, UF alumnus and President of Therigy, a leader in specialty pharmacy software and consulting services.

Joseph Morse and Russel Allinson co-founded Therigy in 2006 and have grown the company exponentially over the past 9 years.  In 2011, Jon Hamrick, an MBA graduate of Florida’s Warrington College of Business and long-term specialty pharmacy veteran, joined Therigy’s executive team to oversee the company’s sales, marketing, and pharmaceutical consulting services.  Currently, Therigy employs 40 Central Floridians with plans to add 33 employees in 2015.

In addition to being recognized this year by the Gator100, Therigy was selected by GrowFL as one of “Florida’s Companies to Watch” in 2013.

Winners of the Gator100 were selected based on meeting a set of criteria centered on company duration, revenues, leadership, and character.  According to the University of Florida, all submissions were ranked by compounded annual growth rate (CAGR (http://gator100.ufl.edu/docs/CAGR.pdf)) by independent auditor Ernst & Young. Recipients will be recognized at an awards gala hosted in Gainesville on February 6^th.
