Fitzroy Place chooses Remeha boilers

Feb. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Fitzroy Place, one of the most successful London property developments of recent years, has chosen Remeha boilers to provide energy-saving heating for its offices and residential spaces.

Fitzroy Place is located on the site of the former Middlesex Hospital in Fitzrovia, in the heart of London’s West End. This impressive new complex for UK property developer Exemplar, in partnership with Aviva Investors and Kaupthing hf, provides 287 private apartments in three residential blocks, as well as two new office buildings with a combined square footage of 450,000and retail units designed around a landscaped public garden.

The Remeha boilers work alongside the central CHP plant, with three Remeha Gas 310 Eco Pro (http://www.remeha.co.uk/product/gas-310-610-eco-pro-condensing-boiler) boilers delivering heating and hot water to the eight-storey office building at One Fitzroy Place, a further three Remeha Gas 310 Eco Pro boilers serving the second office building at Two Fitzroy Place, and three Remeha Gas 610 Eco Pro boilers serving the residential areas of the complex.

Contractors Dornan Engineering Ltdfor Sir Robert McAlpine supplied and installed the Remeha boilers which were chosen due to the brand’s renowned quality and reliability.

Working closely with the aftersales department, the Remeha technical team produced a specially-configured sequencer control solution to meet the multiple boiler requirement at Fitzroy Place, to enable each cascade to sequence independently through the Central Building Management System.

The Remeha 310/610 Eco Pro range delivers higher than average annual efficiencies of 109.35% NCV and ultra-low NOx and carbon emissions. The fully-assembled, free-standing, fully-modulating, high-efficiency, gas-fired condensing boilers are available with outputs from 51 to 1202kW. This ‘renewable-ready’ range can be connected with both CHP units and renewable technologies for maximum efficiency.
