Sculpture Exhibition At Lockside Art Center

LOCKPORT, N.Y. - Feb. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Join us for “Made by Hand” Sculpture Exhibition - featuring the work of 20 western New York sculptors working in steel, copper, wood, egg, stone, glass, and clay. “Wow!”, “Impressive!”, “Outstanding!” are typical comments from sculptors, artists, reporters, and early visitors on seeing the work as it is arriving. In addition to this exhibition in our main gallery, we announce the opening of our new continuing Sculpture Gallery for frequent new sculpture exhibits during the year in addition to our standard gallery schedule.

Opening reception is Saturday February 7, 2015, 2-4pm, with free refreshments. The exhibit continues through March 14, 2015.  Gallery hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, noon until 4pm, and by appointment; always FREE admission.

Lockside is an intimate not-for-profit art center located in downtown Lockport, NY, overlooking the Erie Canal at the historic Flight of Five Locks.  Lockside is within walking distance to restaurants and tourist attractions.  We are located at 21-41 Main St. at Pine, Suite 208, with plenty of free parking and the center is handicap accessible.
