REDMOND, Wash. - Feb. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Greenwood Clean Energy announced today that Bob Larson Plumbing of Tacoma, WA has become the first Washington state plumbing and heating company to complete Greenwood’s new Certified Installer training program.  Greenwood Clean Energy is a renewable heating appliance manufacturer with a growing network of trained installers.

Today’s news is the first in a series of professional plumbing and heating contractor relationships that were fostered through Greenwood’s relationship with the leading plumbing and HVAC wholesaler, Keller Supply. After being introduced by Keller Supply, contractors begin Greenwood’s three-step certification program, culminating in a full-day training session where technicians learn about the installation, service and support of the Frontier CX indoor wood boiler.

“Since we launched our distributor strategy several months ago, we’ve had tremendous positive response from the plumbing and heating contractor community,” said Michael Kuehner, CEO of Greenwood Clean Energy. “The approach is gaining momentum, and is providing partners like Bob Larson Plumbing a competitive edge in their service area while generating new business for this new heating category.”

The unique CrossFire™ Combustion technology in Greenwood’s Frontier CX wood boiler revolutionizes wood boiler performance and offers homeowners the only wood boiler allowed for sale in Washington State.

“Our technicians are very impressed with the Greenwood Frontier wood boiler,” said Bob Larson, owner of Bob Larson Plumbing. “This is an innovative new category of heating appliances and we are excited by the opportunity to provide our Pierce and Thurston county customers with an option that not only saves them money, but also improves the quality of their home’s heat.”
