Vasa Order of America Austin Lodge Valentine's Day Event

CHICAGO - Feb. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Love is in the air at Austin Lodge and to celebrate, the Vasa Order of America Lodge that meets on the Northwest Side of Chicago will holding a very special Valentine's Day event this year.

In addition to the festivities which include as special meal following the business meeting, noted Chicago Journalist Frank Rowder will be in attendance at Austin Lodge #466 Valentine's party. The party begins at Friday, February 14, 2015 at 12:30pm at Svithiod Hall, 5516 W. Lawrence Avenue in Chicago

Frank will cover the recent meeting with Ukraine Journalists at the Chicago Journalists Association Board Meeting. He will talk about the current crisis  in Ukraine with Russian leader Vladamir Putin, who is facing a major recession in 2015. He will also cover the recent Russia-China natural gas deal.

Austin Lodge has traditionally been known as one of the friendliest Lodges in the Chicago Area. Its mission is to promote Scandinavian Culture and History and it has done so with great enthusiasm for nearly 80 years.
