Orangetheory Fitness to Open in Oak Park, IL

OAK PARK, Ill. - Feb. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- February 4, 2015 – Fast growing franchise Orangetheory® Fitness (orangetheoryfitness.com/oakpark) is thrilled to announce they will be opening a new studio at 7121 W. North Avenue, on the southeast corner of North Avenue and Harlem, in Oak Park. Pre-sales have started at the location and classes will begin when the 3,000 square foot studio is completed in early Spring 2015.

Orangetheory Fitness is a one-of-a-kind, group personal training workout that uses intervals of cardiovascular and strength training. Their heart-rate-monitored training is designed to maintain a target zone, no matter what the fitness level of the individual, that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. The workout is half endurance and half strength and power training. Everyone in class wears a state-of-the-art heart rate monitor with their individual heart rates displayed in real-time on large monitors positioned throughout the studio. Maintaining the targeted zone (a.k.a. the "orange zone") ensures that each person maximizes the efficiency of their workout to boost cardiovascular benefit and burn fat, both during and up to 36 hours after the workout. They offer a different plateau-busting workout every time to ensure variety and challenge. Each session is lead by an Orangetheory Fitness certified personal trainer.

Owners and siblings Derek Hearne and Adryenne Hearne-Alvarez, are excited to become part of the fitness community in Oak Park. We can’t wait to join the community and bring the residents a new fitness experience.” Derek, who has a background in tech and sales, has always had a passion for fitness, and he was hooked after one workout when sister Adryenne introduced him to Orangetheory Fitness two years ago. Adryenne, a personal trainer for 15 years, was also hooked after her first class and felt a pull to become part of Orangetheory.

Over the past four years, Orangetheory has exploded in the US and overseas, with over 400 franchise licenses awarded in the US and internationally. There are 160 studios currently open, and by the end of 2015 they anticipate having over 300 studios open worldwide.
