BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - Feb. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Back by popular demand, the 2015 Bloomsburg Nationals presented by PPG will feature JM Productions and an attraction they bill as “They World’s Largest Demolition Derby.”  The event takes place during the second full weekend of August (14-16) and the derby itself starts at approximately 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 15.  The derby is just one of many great activities planned for the 2015 Bloomsburg Nationals, now entering its fourth year at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds.

2014 hosted the first-ever demo derby at the Bloomsburg Nationals and packed the stands.  Those who stayed into the warm summer night saw Jereme Spanberg survive the competition and outlast William Gardner and Brian Schell.  Though only a dozen or so cars competed in year one, the durability and infrastructure of the competition meant that cars were literally competing on three wheels.  With an automatic qualifying spot on the line for the annual Bloomsburg Fair, this year’s derby anticipates an even larger crowd with more cars on the track.

Via a partnership with JM Productions, Carlisle Events is able to once more bring the automotive thrills to Columbia County.  All types of cars are welcome to participate as long as they meet safety standards set forth my JM Productions.  Criteria and restrictions are available on the JM Productions web page at www.jmproductionsinc.com.  JM Productions is also available by phone at 716-648-5100 for questions and details.   Further, the event is free to everyone onsite participating in the Bloomsburg Nationals itself, meaning registered showfield participants, vendors and general attendees can see the fun at no additional cost.

Finally, JM Productions’ demolition derby is just one great part of the fun on Saturday.  In addition to the always-popular burnout competition, there will be slow drags and a teeter-totter competition as well as live music from Flamin’ Dick and the Hot Rods.  The musical part of the day commences immediately following the demo derby and takes the fun into the Bloomsburg night with dancing and great “sing along” songs.

“2015 will see the return of the “World’s Largest Demolition Derby,” produced by JM productions, at the Bloomsburg Nationals,” said event manager Tyler Staley.  “After we received overwhelming positive responses to the 2014 derby, we decided to keep it on our roster of activities,” continued Staley.  “We are working closely with JM Productions to make this derby bigger and better than the 2014 version and to provide our attendees with the largest turnout of vehicles possible. Our goal is to provide enthusiasts with the biggest bang for the buck when they come through the gates!”
