Ideal Boilers – twice as nice!

HULL, U.K. - Feb. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Ideal Boilers is celebrating the recognition of its continuing hard work with the news that the company has been shortlisted in two categories in the 2015 H&V News Awards. The categories are, ‘Collaboration of the Year’ alongside Plumb Center for the ‘Grab and Go’ campaign and for ‘Training Initiative of the Year’, with Derby’s Pink Training Academy, owned by Philippa Cunningham.

Carrie Young, Ideal Boilers’ Head of Marketing said, “”Also known as the heating and ventilation industry ‘Oscars’, being named on the shortlist of the H&V News Awards represents recognition of the high standards achieved by our creative marketing communications team.

“The team is very excited by being shortlisted and at the prospect of presenting our projects to the judging team in March. We have created two projects which we believe represent innovation in their fields. Our collaboration with Plumb Center is the first such close alignment of sales, advertising, PR and management teams between a merchant and boiler manufacturer.

“We are particularly proud of the work we have done with our partners at Pink Training Academy in Derby and look forward to expanding the opportunities for women in our sector through the success of the Academy.”

Philippa Cunningham, owner of Pink Plumbing and founder of the Pink Training Academy said, “I am so delighted that our project has been shortlisted for Collaboration of the Year by the H&V News Awards judges.

“It’s a very exciting project, one that is close to my heart, and it is fantastic to gain recognition for our work in encouraging more women to develop their careers by building their own businesses, especially within this industry.”

Julie McLean, Head of Marketing Plumb and Parts Center, said, “This is great recognition of the work our team does in collaboration with our industry partners. We continue to work closely on this and other projects, and look forward to making our presentations to the judging panel which we believe will strengthen our case for winning the award!”

Being recognised in two categories adds to Ideal’s impressive portfolio of national awards achieved, including Best use of Website in the recent Construction Marketing Awards, the Logic+ boiler winning a Product of the Year award in the Household Boiler category and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Innovation.

Ideal also carried off Manufacturer of the Year at the Phoenix Natural Gas Awards, took joint honours in the national category of the Made in Hull awards and the Logic, Logic+ and Vogue boilers are listed as Good Housekeeping magazine’s reader recommended products and have passed Consumer Quality Assessment tests carried out by the Good Housekeeping Institute.
