Fox Cities Magazine Reveals New Website

APPLETON, Wis. - Feb. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- The Fox Cities Magazine publication has been serving Northeast Wisconsin area for over 31 years and the new website will help bridge the print to a new online presence. This is Stellar Blue’s first website project for Fox Cities Magazine.

Upon entering the homepage of the Fox Cities Magazine website, visitors are greeted by sliding images of the magazine's main headline articles allowing users to scroll through and easily read them. Below the slider, four links are made available: an interactive calendar where subscribers can search and submit events; a live community chat feature made for open discussion between the community; magazine archives; and an interactive dining guide search to promote local eateries.

The website is integrated with Wordpress, a content management system. This will allow Fox Cities Magazine to manage the website content as they need. The website is also built with responsive design, allowing the website to be mobile optimized. To keep track and monitor the website’s performance, Stellar Analytics (http://stellarbluetechnologies.com/marketing/analytics/) was added. Stellar Analytics helps clients track the most important and crucial marketing metrics to assess website success.

As the shift to an online presence continues, the Fox Cities Magazine website was launched as a source to attract those who are using the internet to search for local updates, events, favorites, food, and more. The new website is meant to act as an aid to its print publication and help grow the Fox Cities Magazine name.

A site-wide advertising platform powered by a database was integrated into the site so the magazine can manage online ads and generate a source of revenue as they would on their print publications. This feature is set to go live later in the month of February.
