Spotify coming to PlayStation Network

By: Playstation

Feb. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Spotify and PlayStation are coming out with a new entertainment for music called PlayStation Music, which will come to PlayStation Network this spring.

This new service will close down PlayStation's old music app, music unlimited, on March 29th. PlayStation users may then link their accounts to Spotify and play its free ad-supported streaming music or you can pay $10 a month and then you then have no adds and can stream the music in offline mode.

The vice president of Sony Network Entertainment Eric Lempel announced the joining on the PlayStation blog. He mentioned that while playing any game you can play music in the background. For example if you don't like a soundtrack for a game you can turn it off and then stream your Spotify music instead.

The service will be available to download on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

Music Unlimited is available on the ps4 in 19 countries. So i'm guessing all 19 of those countries and many more countries to come will have PlayStation Music.

If you are a music unlimited subscriber you will receive a free month of access from February 28th to March 29th.
