Notably, they have litigated and won many of the landmark zoning cases decided by the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. The team has helped zoning decisions that allowed the development of Phipps Plaza, Cox Communications, Stone Crest Mall, Atlantic Station, Monarch Plaza Buckhead, Tower Place; as well as Prospect Point which paved the way for today’s Avalon development in Alpharetta. Doug is a past chair of the Council for Quality Growth and the team is closely involved in the real estate development community. He and Jill are among the co-authors of Zoning and Land Use in Georgia, the sole reference book for zoning and land use laws in Georgia. Julie leverages 15 years of real estate litigation experience to effectively work with local governments advocating her clients' zoning and land use interests.
