A Gemstone Extravaganza takes over Central Alberta

RED DEER, Alberta - Feb. 1, 2015 - PRLog -- The Rocktopia Gem & Mineral Show is Western Canada's largest show dedicated to rocks, gems, minerals, fossils, and crystals; but what many people do not realize is that admission to this incredible event is absolutely free!

The staff and owners at Silver Cove, the organizers of Rocktopia, have the honor of sharing their passion for all things gem related with thousands of incredible people for eleven amazing days each Feb/Mar.

The people working at the show have experience in all aspects of the gem industry, pulling it from the ground, cutting and polishing, dealing with minesites from around the world, silversmithing and more. During the show, they help with stone identification, teach students about gems and minerals, and assist people in furthering their passion for the indusrty.

The Rocktopia Gem & Mineral Show is open to all ages and interest levels. It takes over the Lacombe Centre Mall Feb 26th thru Mar 8th, 2015. Admission is absolutely free, but the experience is priceless.
