Prizes, trophies and a coveted Golden Ticket to compete in the Ultimate Food Fight will be awarded for the top 3 competitors in each of the 4 Bacon Bash Cook-off categories. About the River Falls Bacon Bash: The Third Annual River Falls Bacon Bash is a free community event celebrating all things bacon. Held along the banks of the Kinnikinnic River in downtown River Falls, Wisconsin on September 19-20, the festival features dozens of bacon-inspired food vendors, live music, craft beer tent, kid’s activities and over 40 arts & crafts vendors. In addition to the WFC events in 2015, the Bacon Bash also conducts a kid’s bacon cook-off, the Croix Valley Pig Wing Eating Contest, a Car and “Hog” Cruze-in and much more for the crowds of over 10,000 attendees. This year’s Bacon Bash is expected to break attendance records, making the event the largest bacon festival in the Midwest.
