DAV RecruitMilitary Vet Job Fair Coming to Philadelphia on March 5

LOVELAND, Ohio - Jan. 30, 2015 - PRLog -- DAV and the military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Thursday March 5, 2015. DAV and RecruitMilitary are inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, personnel who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members. The event will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Among the franchisors, educational institutions, and government agencies that have already reserved exhibitor booths at the Expo are DAV; PSE & G; USAA; Accenture; The Home Depot; JP Morgan Chase; Belfor; Norfolk Southern Corporation; Educational Testing Service; Philadelphia Gas Works; Prudential Financial; Enterprise Holdings; DeVry University; Heavy Construction Academy; Veteran Franchise Center; Pennsylvania Army National Guard; Venezia, Inc.; Farmers Insurance; First Command Financial Planning; Drexel University; The Art Institutes; and John Hopkins Carey Business School.

In addition, USAA’s local wealth management team is presenting a seminar prior to the career fair at 10:00 a.m. The seminar is titled "Practical Advice for All Stages of Retirement Planning." All veterans are welcome to attend this session that is intended to provide information for veterans and spouses to use as they consider their future retirement.

DAV personnel will be on hand to answer veterans’ questions about benefits and to provide them with other valuable information.
