H.A.N.D.Y. Names New Board of Directors

MIAMI - Jan. 30, 2015 - PRLog -- H.A.N.D.Y., the Fort Lauderdale based non-profit organization that helps abused, neglected and disadvantaged youth has appointed the following members to its board of directors:

Shelly Bradshaw, vice president of operations at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Bradshaw sits on the board for Leadership Broward Foundation, ArtServe and on the executive board for CHW Productions, a national company providing educational programming to college campuses. She is a graduate of Leadership Broward Class XXVIII.

Matt Korshoff , senior vice president of Community Bank of Broward. He is an executive board member of Leadership Broward and is active with Junior Achievement, All Saints Catholic School, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and the United Way of Broward County.

Kenneth E. Morris, CEO and president of Morris Southeast Group. Morris is one of South Florida’s top producing brokers representing property owners, investors and companies that lease or purchase commercial buildings and land for their businesses. He currently serves on the board of JFS Broward and is an at-large member of the executive committee for the NSU Ambassadors Board.

Rodrigo Rodriguez-Novas, senior vice president of the Strategic Planning and Business Operations Division at Citigroup.

Audra Vaz, director of Annual Giving and Donor Relations at Florida Atlantic University.

Mark Miller, a vice president and Senior Investment Officer for Northern Trust’s Broward County offices. Mark also serves as chair of the Trust Investment Committee, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of South Florida.

Adam Corin, owner of Niroc Consultants. . He is a Leadership Broward Class XXXII graduate and an active Guardian ad Litem.

Bob Birdsong, CEO and president of OK Generators. Birdsong is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers, Construction Executives Association, Association of Building Contractors and Construction Association of South Florida. He is on the board of directors of 6 Degrees, Broward Health Foundation, Broward 2-1-1, Broward College Foundation and Mission United.

HANDY is a nonprofit organization that aims to embrace, educate and empower vulnerable youth to become engaged and productive adults. For more than 27 years, HANDY has met the needs of more than 50,000 Broward county children and youth in foster and relative/non-relative care under protective supervision. HANDY annually serves more than 1,300 at-risk children and youth between the ages of birth to 23 years old.
