Roche Bobois sponsors Jet Aviation’s ‘La Bella Macchina’ benefitting Boys & Girls Clubs

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Jan. 30, 2015 - PRLog -- Roche Bobois Paris, the world’s largest designer and distributor of high-end contemporary home furnishings, was among a select group of  sponsors of Jet Aviation’s 15th annual La Bella Macchina (The Beautiful Machine).  The event, which took place January 22nd at the Jet Aviation facility at the Palm Beach International Airport, is a private, lifestyle celebration in conjunction with the Cavallino Classic in Palm Beach. The invitation-only fête was attended by over 1,000 executives, socialites and Ferrari enthusiasts who made their way along the red carpet to raise funds for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County through a silent auction of luxury items and experiences. Guests enjoyed elaborate displays of gourmet delicacies throughout the vast hangar paired with fine wines and spirits.

Roche Bobois was among some of the most respected global brands to sponsor what many consider one of “the” events of The Palm Beaches’ social season, displaying more than 100 classic and late-model Ferraris. Star attractions also included luxurious business jets and helicopters from Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon, Embraer, Bombardier and others. Among the “machines,” both large and small, was Roche Bobois’ iconic, motorized Astrolab dining table from their North Palm Beach showroom. Beneath an imposing, beveled glass tabletop is a visible, mechanized cog system of glistening wheels and gears that, when activated via remote control, enlarge the table with glass extension leaves. Roche Bobois’ display was also complemented by their acclaimed Mah Jong sectional sofa featuring custom fabric from haute couturier Jean Paul Gaultier.

Given the lifestyle they enjoy, one would think they have seen everything. Not so. This was a first for them, and they couldn’t stop watching it in motion. It was a lot of fun.”
