Sterling silver tea and coffee service. Made by Gorham in Providence, ca. 1910. This service comprises 1 tea kettle on stand, 1 teapot, 1 coffeepot, 1 creamer, 1 sugar, and 1 waste bowl, all on tray.

All: lobed bodies on raised foot. Engraved stylized ornament including scrolls, garlands, foliage, and scallop shells.

Covers are hinged and flush. Kettle, teapot, and coffeepot have wicker-wrapped handles. Kettle handle is swing. Teapot and coffeepot handles are bracket. Creamer and sugar have double scroll handles with foliate caps. Kettle, teapot, and coffeepot have vertical s-scroll spouts. Creamer has helmet mouth with molded rim. Kettle stand has 4 capped and double-scroll supports on scallop shells. Supports mounted with flowers to central fluted bowl .

Tray: cartouche with cut-out kidney handles and same engraved ornament.

.Hallmark includes no. 88. Excellent condition.

Total weight: 268.2 troy ounces. Very large and heavy.
