ELK GROVE, Calif. - Jan. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- As we enter 2015 with cautious optimism there are five areas that are concerning that face every investor. We exit 2014 without massive damage despite the many calls to economic destruction by daily bears. The reason I say daily bears is there are many who are a bear each day and unfortunately they drown out the call when real danger is near. It goes back to the boy who cried wolf, there was a real danger of a wolf and people did need to be on guard but when the wolf really arrived everyone was so sick of hearing about it and had psychologically become accustomed to the idea of the wolf it was less shocking.

It is my opinion this is what is happening inside of the financial world and these daily bears are desensitizing investors from the real dangers to the economy and financial markets.

Disturbing Risk 1

Student loan defaults are a massive danger since costs are rising and tens of thousands graduating without the possibility of getting a career in their field or will be underemployed. Another issue very few are talking about are the expiration of rate controls, this can cause thousands of students to default on their loans and this could be worse than the housing default destruction we saw a few years ago.

Disturbing Risk 2

The Federal Reserve is a rising risk as they play from behind when deciding what to do with interest rates. It is true the Fed will more than likely keep rates low which has its benefits, however this is temporary and when the reckoning does come it will be devastating to both the economy and financial markets.

Disturbing Risk 3

There is a shadow world which is battling a dangerous war. This war is the secret and often hidden currency battle which has the potential to grow during 2015 and could bring real disruptions. Russia and the ruble, as well as oil are perfect examples.

Disturbing Risk 4

Take a look at www.debtclock.org. This site shows just how financially off we are as a country and how frightening off countries around the world are. Many governments including our are insolvent and increasing debt levels and unfortunately breaking records daily. This is destruction and contraction in the making.

Disturbing Risk 5

The movie The Interview received endless publicity the last few weeks and regardless of how we feel about the movie, Sony, or the wisdom behind the decision to make the movie it shows a disturbing trend of hacking. 15 major banks we hacked last year and now governments are increasing their use of cyber warfare to attack and keep enemies in check. This is a risk to every investor around the world because with a push of a button our financial history and wealth could be completely erased.

These are 5 disturbing risks every investor faces in the coming year and the need for an Investment Team to keep you informed, decipher noise, and protect your life savings is even more important. For this reason we thank you for the trust you have placed in us as we continue to work for you and your families.
