CaseyGerry Announces New Associate Attorney

SAN DIEGO - Jan. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO (Jan. 27, 2015) – Casey Gerry Schenk Francavilla Blatt & Penfield, LLP – San Diego’s oldest plaintiff’s law firm – has expanded its legal team with the addition of new associate attorney, Srinivas Hanumadass.

According to firm partner, Frederick Schenk, with whom he will be working, Hanumadass is a seasoned litigator and a valuable addition to CaseyGerry.  He will focus his practice on serious personal injury and product liability litigation.

Prior to joining CaseyGerry, Hanumadass spent seven years as a civil litigator at San Diego-based Wingert, Grebing Brubaker & Juskie LLP, where he practiced various areas of law, including insurance defense litigation ranging from personal injury and wrongful death to labor and employment law. Prior to that, he was an attorney with DiCaro, Coppo & Popcke, practicing health care law.

He earned a J.D., cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law,  where he was a member of Thomas Jefferson Law Review, a fellow at the Center for Global Legal Studies, received high honors in trial practice and advanced trial practice and earned the Cal-Witkin Award and Jefferson Medal for the highest grade in criminal law.  He was admitted to practice law in California in 2003, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in history from the University of Wisconsin.

The current president of the South Asian Bar Association, he serves on the San Diego County Bar Association’s ethnic relations and diversity committee, and is the scholarship committee chair of Lawyers Club of San Diego. Since 2012, he has volunteered with Just in Time, an organization dedicated to assisting foster youth in transition.
