Each floorplan was designed with a focus around larger living areas, walk-in closets and over-sized bathrooms. The luxury apartment homes also offer walk-in utility rooms in select units, hardwood-like flooring and chef-inspired kitchens great for entertaining. All of the apartment homes sit above 8,000 square feet of retail space anchored by a 7-Eleven convenience store. Other retailers include Paws Dog Barkery, The Day Spa, Amazeballz and Sweet as Sugar Children’s Boutique. The first Junction 15 residents began moving in mid-December 2014, and currently the property is 30 percent leased. Junction 15 residents have access to a variety of amenities and conveniences, including a resort style pool, an outdoor cabana with flat screen TV, grilling stations and lounge area. Indoor amenities include a Precor Fitness Center and Verizon Fios Cyber Café equipped with Apple and PC options. Junction 15 also features a manicured courtyard with lounge areas and free wi-fi, as well as a wide tree-lined Douglas Walk that wraps around the community. Directly across the street residents can enjoy a 5-acre park with jogging trails as well as direct access to the DART Light Rail which serves most of the DFW area. On display in the leasing center are a trio of commissioned paintings by artist Stephen Hall. The unique art features indigenous animals from this region, as well as various shapes and objects that imply a diversity in culture. Hall’s work has been featured in major motion pictures, music videos and magazines, as well as exhibits throughout the United States, India, Japan, Korea and Mexico. A small farming community until the 1960’s, Plano has grown dramatically, while maintaining the attributes of its historic downtown. Steps away from Junction 15 residents can enjoy all the attractions of downtown Plano's historic district lined with landmarks, museums and restaurants.
