By: West Texas Plains JDRF Cocktails & Canapes will kick off the 2015 Promise Ball season, honoring the Southwest Retina Specialists with the Vision Award for their extraordinary work in diabetes research. Southwest Retina has been supporting JDRF through fundraising, outreach, community vision screenings, and participation of on-site clinical research trials. Southwest Retina has a long-standing relationship with JDRF. Pam Lary will be recognized as the 2015 Living and Giving Award recipient. Pam Lary has supported JDRF for many years donating her creative and photographic talent. She has provided unique images of individuals living with T1D throughout our area.
