Clever Bastard Art Group presents first annual CBAG Theater Festival, April 4, 11, 18, and 25

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Clever Bastard Art Group and Creative Director, Darnell Lamont Walker, in partnership with The Next Stage Theater are proud to announce the dates for the 2015 CBAG Theater Festival.

Slated for Saturday April 4^th, 11^th, 18^th, and 25^th at 8:00pm at The Next Stage Theater in Hollywood, CA, the 2015 CBAG Theater Festival will feature outstanding, original works by playwrights and performers. Enjoy four nights of one act plays, dance, staged readings, and one man/woman shows that will cover a variety of genres, including comedy, drama, action, and other focuses.

Calling all Playwrights!

Submissions must be in before February 27, 2015 at 11:59pm PST. Entries must be made electronically at: http://cleverbastardartgroup.com/cbag-festival/. The entry fee varies depending on your submission.

Only 10 pieces will be chosen to participate in the 2015 CBAG Theater Festival by the GBAG Selection Committee and Darnell Lamont Walker. Selected playwrights will be contacted via email and phone and selected plays will be posted on out website http://cleverbastardartgroup.com/.

The mission of the Clever Bastard Art Group is to create a platform for outstanding playwrights and performers to inspire a deeper imagination and creativity in the world.

Since 2012, Clever Bastard Art Group has proven to be a significant contributor in the world of art, and now it’s time for growth, more adventure, and more building. “We hope to build great relationships with all playwrights, artist, production staff, and our audience in an effort to build a greater cultural landscape here in Los Angeles,” Walker said. “This festival, though small this first year, is a great tool for all creative souls. Use it as you please.”
