Follow on Google News | College of Business Administration MBA Students Compete in International Case CompetitionBy: Kent State University The team, made up of Christina Bills, Jyoti Sharma, Kemilembe Mjungu, Doreen Matthes and alternate Craig Mass, did not place in the competition but returned home with knowledge and global connection that they expect will impact their future careers. “It was a great competition this year,” said Mike Mayo, associate professor of marketing and team coach. “I was proud of how our students performed and represented the university in this elite assembly of world-class business programs.”, The competition, also known as Olympics of International Case Competition attracted more than 200 MBA students from six continents. The event is organized by a team of MBA students from the John Molson School of Business and is one of the largest and oldest case competitions in the world. The College of Business Administration has participated in the competition since 2006. This year’s competition theme was “Global Connections - Sustainable Future”. The cases presented were carefully selected from the annual Case Writing Competition’ The week of the competition included social and networking events that helped students bridge the gap between the academic and corporate world. Nanyang Business School of Singapore took home the MBA-ICC Cup and a $10,000 cash prize in the 2015 competition.
