Republic Day Celebration at Xperts Infosoft: 26th January 2015

PASCHIM, India - Jan. 27, 2015 - PRLog -- In India, 26^th January is celebrated as a Republic Day and it is celebrated in the honor of the date on which the Constitution of India came into existence on 26 January 1950 and replaced the Government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India.

Well let’s discuss a bit about what is the significance of Republic Day in India and then we will discuss what all our team and our expert members at Xperts Infosoft did for celebrating the Republic Day. The constitution for which we celebrate the republic day was actually passed on 26^th November 1949 by the constituent of India but it was adopted on 26^th January 1950. Selecting the date i.e. 26^th January was not a coincidence but it was selected intentionally because it had a purpose. The reason is that in 1930, the Declaration of Indian Independence (Purna Swaraj) was done on the same date by the Indian national Congress.

What People Do In General?

People all over India put in a lot of efforts to organize events and celebrate Republic Day in India. In Delhi and other state capitals you can experience large military parades. Representatives of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force and traditional dance troupes take part in the parades.

What We Did At Xperts Infosoft?

We at Xperts Infosoft had great fun and celebrated this day with great pomp and show. We all decided to wear dresses with a color combination of Orange, White and Green. This was the Dress code. Girls were asked to wear traditional suits and boys were asked to wear white kurtas in order to look traditional and Indian. Because it is a gazetted holiday on 26^th January, we celebrated our Republic day on 24^th January 2015 in order to respect our patriotism.

We also used badges imprinted with Indian flag on our dresses to give the real feel of being Indian. We brought the real patriotism among our employees and celebrated our festival. We did raise the Indian flag and salute it like we see in the large parades used to hold every year in New Delhi. We also sang together the National Anthem together and enjoyed.

After this we decided to play games in the garden area. Boys were asked to participate in 500 meter race. Females were asked to do the same. After this the game called musical chairs was played where chairs are kept in an order one less than the total number of players. Then music is being played and the moment the music stops everyone playing has to grab the chair and the one who is left without the chair is sent out. The one who remains till last with the chair is declared as the winner of the game.

After this game we had a game where you have to hold a spoon in your mouth and have to balance a lemon on the top of the spoon while walking towards the finish point. The one who reach the finish point first with the lemon remaining in the spoon is the winner.

At the end, winners were awarded with special prizes. After the prize ceremony a bit of dance was there on patriotic songs and then we had lunch and went to our homes. It was a great celebration. We at Xperts Infosoft celebrate every festival together and keep our history alive in our hearts.
