PODS® of Houston aids St. Andrews Episcopal Church’s youth mission fund raising

HOUSTON - Jan. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- For the 5th year in a row, PODS of Houston (http://www.pods.com/Houston.aspx) will donate the use of its safe and secure PODS containers to the St. Andrews Episcopal Church in support of fund raising efforts for their annual youth mission trip.  The PODS containers will be used to store gently used items donated from the community for the upcoming garage sale that will take place on Saturday, March 7, from 7 a.m. – noon.

The garage sale plays an integral part in raising funds for the church’s annual youth mission trip.  For 2015, 40 students in grades 7-12 will travel to Tennessee to help repair the homes of the elderly and to those in need.

“Without the PODS containers, our fund-raising efforts would be much more difficult.  Our church has very limited excess storage space, and having the PODS containers on site allows us to solicit additional donations of items to sell at our garage sale,” said Judy Bettencourt, Youth Garage Sale Coordinator. “PODS has provided us a safe and convenient way to store our donations that will help us raise money for our annual youth mission trip.”

The church will be collecting gently used items such as furniture, clothes, baby goods, and housewares, until Friday, March 6.
