Covenant House California Receives Bank Of America Grant To Aid Homeless Youth

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- (LOS ANGELES, CA) –Covenant House California (http://www.covenanthousecalifornia.org) (CHC), the largest agency assisting homeless youth in the state, received a $15,000 grant from the Bank of America (http://www.bankofamerica.com) Charitable Foundation to help the agency continue to serve the critical needs of homeless youth.   CHC supplies a vast array of programs and services to homeless youth including food, shelter, job training and medical assistance.

The check was presented by Daryl Kueter, Senior Vice President of Bank of America, to Bill Bedrossian, Executive Director of Covenant House California.  “Bank of America is extremely pleased to award this grant to CHC,” said Kueter. “We believe it’s important to support organizations that help people when they need it most. Covenant House California does that and more.”

Keuter is an active member of the CHC Board of Directors. He has taken part in CHC’s Sleep-Out: Executive Edition and volunteers to assist with various CHC initiatives.   “We’re extremely grateful for Daryl’s involvement with CHC and Bank of America’s generosity,” said Bedrossian. “This grant will go to the services that homeless and at-risk youth need the most.  It won’t just make a difference, it will save lives.”

Covenant House California is a non-profit agency that saves the lives of at-risk and homeless youth.
