Teen-oriented ‘Oh My G’ debuts strongly as Most Watched Daytime TV Show in the Philippines

Jan. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- ABS-CBN’s newest drama series “Oh My G,” shown worldwide only on TFC, starring Kapamilya teen star Janella Salvador quickly got the viewers worldwide as it debuted the most watched daytime TV program in the Philippines.  Meantime, “Dream Dad” continues its run as primetime leader since its debut last November.

According to a data from Kantar Media Philippines (television audience measurement provider) last Monday, January 19, the premiere of Salvador’s teleserye scored a Philippine TV rating of 15.5% or double its program in GMA “The Ryzza Mae Show” (7.&%).

Aside from the high ratings, the pilot of “Oh My G” also ruled social networking sites such as Twitter where the hashtag #OhMyGTheBeginning became a Philippine trending topic because of the netizens’ excitement over the beginning of Sophie’s (Salvador) journey.

Meanwhile, worldwide viewers will surely be thrilled more in the next episodes of “Oh My G” as Sophie develops a better relationship with her father (Paul (Eric Santos).  How will Sophie’s life change, however, when she loses the only family she has left?
